Adding IRLP Channels to the XIPAR Server

Though it is a part of this software release, this feature has not been officially released as a part of the XIPAR package.

Contact us if you would like to merge your XIPAR and IRLP stations into a single package. We'll help you configure and test it.

IRLP and screen reader access

I'm interested in adding screen reader access to the CentOS software if possible. Also interested in including IRLP.

Screen Reader Access

I'm just getting started with the whole asterisk thing, but I've been playing with GNU/Linux for a long time. Unfortunately, CentOS doesn't have prebuilt packages, not even (to my knowledge) for the orca screen reader (screen reader for the GNOME desktop). For my money, speakup is the best thing out for the command line, but it requires that you build a kernel and patch it in. Also it's much easier if you have a hardware based external synthesizer, although soft ones such as espeak are now supported--my experience with them is limited, however. Drop me a note off the forum if you want to discuss further.

XIPAR + IRLP

Please add me to the list of those who would like to add IRLP...
Thanks!
