Asterisk Wireless Interoperability Solutions

This project provides a complete Wireless Interoperability Solution that offers a full feature set and yet is very cost effective.

The core software technology is the renowned Asterisk open source software IP PBX. Several of Asterisk's founding and sustaining developers are radio amateurs and professionals who have provided PTT radio features in Asterisk since its beginning.

Other elements of this solution include the iaxRpt PC PTT Dispatch Client, a web based configuration tool and various utilities.

The use of Open Source Software assures that there is no vendor lock-in.

The use of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) hardware facilitates easy equipment reuse and replacement and eliminates forced forklift upgrades.
