Spring Has Sprung!

Hello Y'All,

Since a new Centos 6 based XIPAR release and a matching set of questions are in the wild, we are going to start a series of Sessions and Meetings.

Each one is a mash-up of Amateur Radio and Open Source Project technology. Check it out through the links on the left. It should be fun and informative.

Package Updated - May 2010

This latest package release is based on Fedora 12 instead of Centos 5. This provides a much more current kernel, better performance and lots of new features. We can still use Centos/RHEL and other operating systems but Fedora really is the best choice now for a standard install.

The USB radio device channel driver has been completely rebuilt and renamed "chan_urd". Additional details are in the installation document.
